Main Challenge
With limited activities beyond badge earning, users had little reason to return. The platform didn’t offer enough to sustain engagement over time. As the Okay Bears ecosystem matured, users expected more depth, clarity, and utility from the platform. They wanted a space to track, and manage their collections and rewards.
The UI also leaned heavily on saturated colors, creating a cluttered and chaotic experience that didn't match the goals of the company.

Problem Statement
Research
Common themes included poor navigation, low discoverability of rewards, and unclear engagement pathways. We also spoke with active members of the Okay community and surfaced clear pain points.
Painpoints
“Having only one NFT restricts my ability to fully benefit from this platform, as it limits the number of tickets I can earn for raffles.
"While the platform functions adequately, it doesn't offer much beyond ticket checking, which limits my time spent on the site.”
“I often miss out on the website's raffles because I'm unaware when they're ending.”
Solution
We introduced a refreshed visual system and improved platform functionality to simplify the user experience and drive engagement—all while staying true to the original Okay design language.
Update #1
We redesigned the homepage for clarity and function—adding ad spaces for timely announcements, a dedicated account settings button, and a new ticket count indicator. A simplified color palette enhances navigation and reduces visual clutter.
Update #2
We enhanced the streak system to boost engagement and clarity—surfacing actions like the daily “GM” streak, adding a countdown timer, and displaying streak stats to help users track progress and stay motivated.
Update #3
To give users more clarity and motivation around their participation, we introduced a centralized Ticket Dashboard. This new feature allowed users to easily track how many tickets they earned from streaks, engagement, and other platform activities.
Updated #4
Grails are exclusive badges for users who hold specific combinations of Okay Bears NFTs. The rarest—like the Diamond Hand—is awarded to those with NFTs from all collections, with users able to earn multiples by owning multiple full sets.
To support this, we built a modular badge system and modal layout that clearly shows NFT holdings and unlocked grails—making it easy to track progress while celebrating top collectors with a clean, visual experience.
Update #5
We built a new notification system designed to keep users informed about platform activity, upcoming events, and reward opportunities, without overwhelming them with information.
Update #6
We introduced a dedicated collections page to help users browse and manage their digital collectibles with greater ease.
Outcome
Reduced visual clutter
We streamlined the design system by cutting down excessive colors and reworking type hierarchy, improving readability and overall clarity
Scalable foundation
The refreshed system allowed for faster iteration, easier developer handoffs, and set the stage for consistent future product rollouts.
