The Okay brand started with a vision to harness the power of art and code through Web3 Technology.
The company’s flagship collection, Okay Bears, launched in April 2022 with immediate success. The demand was unprecedented, breaking digital collectible records with $18 million in sales within 24 hours and amassing over $150 million in trading volume since.
Our users exist along a spectrum, reflecting a blend of characteristics and interests that define their engagement with NFTs and Web3 Platform.
Through a series of ideation exercises, journey mapping, and design explorations, it becomes evident the extensive planning and research required to reach the final product.
“Having only one NFT restricts my ability to fully benefit from this platform, as it limits the number of tickets I can earn for raffles.
“I often miss out on the website's raffles because I'm unaware when they're ending.”
"While the platform functions adequately, it doesn't offer much beyond ticket checking, which limits my time spent on the site.”
The initial design of the homepage UI was excessively ambitious in its use of color and typography, resulting in a confusing hierarchy and limited exploration opportunities for the user. The redesign now showcases a harmonious and transparent design system.
The updated color palette has been streamlined to emphasize three primary brand colors, complemented by a selection of six supporting colors, enhancing clarity and brand identity.
Our journey reaffirms that creating for a niche space requires an intimate understanding of its audience. By focusing on the specific needs and preferences of NFT holders, we were able to redefine the Okay Web3 Platform.
